| Matthew Woodruff has been lead counsel
in jury and bench trials in federal court and in domestic and international
arbitrations. He has handled appeals before the Second Circuit
Court of Appeals and in New York Supreme Court's Appellate Divisions.
Mr Woodruff has had extensive experience with expert and technical
witnesses in areas including securities disputes, employment discrimination
and trading in foreign exchange options and futures. Mr. Woodruff's
representative matters include securities and commodities litigation
and arbitration in federal district court and before the New York
Stock Exchange and the NASD, prosecuting customer claims of unsuitable
investments, fraud, churning, breach of fiduciary duty, and negligence,
as well as prosecuting employment claims for wrongful termination,
withholding of compensation and discrimination. Mr. Woodruff has
also handled enforcement of claims arising out of international
financing agreements and the prosecution of claims against foreign
trading companies. He has handled other matters including a wide
range of federal and state court litigation involving commercial
interests, including mergers and acquisitions, negotiable instruments
and real estate transactions. Mr. Woodruff is an Of Counsel to
the firm. |
