The following is a portion of the oral argument
presented by Mr. Eppenstein before the U.S.
Supreme Court in Shearson/American Express, Inc. v. McMahon,
482 U.S. 220, on March 3, 1987 on behalf of the investing public.
In this landmark case, the Court shifted almost all securities
fraud cases from court to arbitration. The decision instantly
became a catalyst for arbitration reforms which Eppenstein
and Eppenstein has spearheaded.
