Landmark U.S. Supreme Court Argument

The following is a portion of the oral argument presented by Mr. Eppenstein before the U.S. Supreme Court in Shearson/American Express, Inc. v. McMahon, 482 U.S. 220, on March 3, 1987 on behalf of the investing public. In this landmark case, the Court shifted almost all securities fraud cases from court to arbitration. The decision instantly became a catalyst for arbitration reforms which Eppenstein and Eppenstein has spearheaded.
